Cape Horn

Cape Horn

This is a satellite view of the Cape at the bottom of South America...or the top, if you are in an upside-down world condition. The Straits of Magellan are about 250 miles north of the Cape.

  1. Glad I am not there, though it is no doubt beautiful and a great adventure. I signed in to Google blog thinking that would be a way of connecting to this but see that is not the way to go. Will reply here and see what happens.

    1. I received your comment. Working through this blogging is daunting to me at the moment, but I have some ideas on making the site of interest, if not of value. They will follow in due course.

    2. Arthur Frank: I am not sure "beautiful" is the right word; dramatic might be better. In many respects, it's the end of the earth. Antarctica is 500 miles away, hard to find, hard to get ashore if you find it, and you can't stay if you do get ashore. And the Horn is of the same character.

  2. Steve - I'm trying to get caught up after Tax Season & the Tim Tebow caper, so read your email and am trying to see if I can even come close to handling all this high tech stuff.

Presume you are now relocated and settled into your new digs

Hopefully this will work and I'll hear from you

    1. Spence---I am getting into gear now. Your comment came through. I am gradually getting so I can review comments and add associated thoughts. Meanwhile, I assume Tebow is steady on course in the big city.
